            没想到已经一个多月没理这个BLOG了。 今天稍微有点空，就小更新一下吧
            最近事情不少，做不完的PRESENTATION，做不完的EXPOSE，从中文做到英文做到法语，已经做了一个多月了，下个礼拜还要继续。感觉上每个礼拜天下午都在赶稿子，做PPT。
            说实话，做演讲基本上没什么乐趣，除非本人特别喜欢这个专题，否则大多数情况下都是被逼的身不由己。不过这个礼拜三的英语演讲可让我好好的过了把瘾。



           和CELINE讲了个HOMOSEXUALITY的课题，她讲GL，我讲BL。两个人准备了很久，我钟情于古代名人们缠绵悱恻的耽美爱情故事，她执着于美剧中的the L word. 两个人的审美角度完全不同，做出来的PPT也风格各异。我的背景中没有一张现实生活中的GAY，大多都是黑色禁药的唯美图~  



               从中国古代的《诗经》《郑风.子衿》，汉哀帝和董贤的断袖之恋，古希腊的柏拉图和亚里士多德，神话中的阿波罗和风信子的传说，一直到马其顿帝国的亚历山大。  历史文化中始终渗透了许许多多的腐元素，就算不腐的也都让我从头到底地YY了一把。故事讲的兴致勃勃，图片看的赏心悦目。我相信那时候的自己已经完全不管台下人的目光，完全沉浸在同人的深渊里不可自拔了。耽美真的是一种毒药啊.........



          我至今都不知道自己怎么会迈向同人的迷沼。说实话，对于BL能接受的范围大多都是非现实的人物。美型不能不说是腐女子们所追求的一大要素。这类唯美得与现实难以共存的事物，正是耽美的最终追求。要是真的有个现实生活中,脸长得一定要打马赛克才能登场的人声称自己是BL的话，我想是谁都提不起YY的兴趣了。 然而正是这种对于美型的追求，让人深陷其中，在非现实的完美中难以自拔，与之先比，残酷的现实真的是不得不让人逃避了。 

       耽于美，明明知道它是毒药，却甘之如饴。

       Today our topic is homosexuality. Celine and I will present in detail the two kinds of homosexuality for you.
First of all, what’s homosexuality? There is a definition from an online dictionary: a sexual attraction to (or sexual relations with) persons of the same sex. The term Homosexual includes males (gays) and females (lesbians).
My subject is male homo, in general speaking is gay.
       In fact, male homosexuality has a very long history in china, longer than you can image. In Chinese history, homosexual classic can be divided into lyrics and narrative novels. The earliest homosexual classic   can be carried up to “Shi Jing”, therefore, one chapter of 《郑风•子衿》 can be regarded as the most important lyric. Now let’s read this poem:

青青子衿，悠悠我心。
纵我不往，子宁不嗣音？
青青子佩，悠悠我思。
纵我不往，子宁不来？
挑兮达兮，在城阙兮。
一日不见，如三月兮！
         Here is a translation of this poem :
Oh, Scholar with the blue collar,
Long I've been yearning for you.
Though I haven't gone to visit you,
Why don't you send me some news?
Oh, scholar with the blue silk ribbon,
Long I've been in love with you.
Though I haven't gone to visit you,
Why don't you come to see me?
I keep pacing to and fro,
On the tower of the city wall.
If for one day I don't see you,
It seems like three months to me!

      Although the translation is not so good, still, it’s very obvious that the two men love each other very much.
      In ancient china, male homosexuality was recognized and even regarded as a gracious behavior in the society. That is why, especially in the dynasty of HAN, almost every emperor had a male concubine. The most famous example is 断袖之癖. According to HANSHU（汉书）：HAN AI DI loved DONGXIAN so much that they lived and slept together wherever or whenever they were. One morning, after HAN AI DI woke up in bed, he found DONGXIAN was asleep deeply and his arm has held AI DI’s sleeve. In order not to wake up the sleeping beauty, AI DI cut his sleeve off. So this is the origin of the phrase 断袖之癖.Don’t you think it is romantic?
            On the other hand, in ancient Greece, male homosexuality was even more popular. As we all know, Plato was the teacher of Aristotle, both of them were gays. In the society of ancient Greece, it existed such a fashion: adults of from thirty to forty years old had a custom to raise a child of no more than twenty. During the growth of the child, the adult taught him a lot of things, almost all he knows, such as knowledge skills how to live in the society etc. At first, the child obeyed the teacher and then respected admired. Gradually, the relationship between them has become love.   Actually, according to Plato’s theory, homosexuality is very important and indispensable in a perfect country. There are several reasons. First, as a precondition, a perfect country must keep a stable population, that is to say, it can’t afford many people. And how to realize this ideal?  What philosophers found is: homosexuality.  Second, in the opinion of the ancient Greeks, male homosexuality can strengthen the battle force of an army. A lot of emperors in ancient occident believed if an army is composed of gays, it will be more powerful and unconquerable. For example, Alexandra, the famous emperor of Macedonia(马其顿帝国), who had almost conquered Europe Asia and Africa, was a gay. One of his armies was all composed of gays, and it was this army that occupied Thebes (a famous city of ancient Egypt).
           Also in Greek mythology, there are many myths of homo. One of them is about hyacinth(风信子)，it is a vary sad story.  God Apollo falls in love with a handsome boy whose name is Hyacinthus. But one of Apollo’s lovers, Zephyrus, God of wind, envies him a lot. One day, when Apollo and Hyacinthus played a game of discus(铁饼)，Zephyrus brought a strong wind, and then the discus of Apollo lost its control, it fell down into Hyacinthus’s head, and killed him. When Apollo arrived, the body of his lover had disappeared, there was only a flower rising from the blood. He named it hyacinth to memorize his lover forever. So this is the origin of hyacinth.
        After so many stories in ancient times, let’s talk about sth academic.  How homosexuality is formed. Some scholars think there are two main reasons. First, physical factor, that means gene. The genetic heredity from parents can influence the children and probably form a tendency to be a homosexual. Second, mental factor, that means the influence of society and environment, this is the most important. It is easier to be homosexual in a close and monosexual environment. For example-SISU. Actually, the formation of homosexuality include various factors, what I have explained are just two obvious and important reasons. If some of you are interested in it, we can discuss it later, privately, after class.
       At present, people pay more and more attention to homo in this world. Four countries have passed the ordinance of the marriage of homosexual. They are Australia Canada Finland and New Zealand. Milwaukee, a seaport in America is regarded as an ideal place for homo to live, especially for lesbians. In comparison with the occident countries, it is regrettable that there is no definite law about homosexual in china.
        However, there is no difference among a straight, gay or lesbian when they fall in love. For our human beings, love is an instinct. All of us deserve love. Why not pay more respects for them? If you are a homosexual, don’t be discouraged, there is a saying for you: Never have regrets, follow your heart. ------ From Jeff Zinnert.
